The World is Open for Business at the 2018 INPACT World Conference

Delegates from 33 firms in 23 different countries across Asia, Europe, North & South America and the Middle East were welcomed to the conference by INPACT EMEA & CSA President Ralf Zeiss, who set the tone for three days of industry insight, knowledge sharing, training, networking and socialising.

With a conference theme of ‘The World is Open for Business’, the programme included topical and engaging presentations from leading business speakers.

Bernard Savage from Ten and a Half Boots kicked off the conference with a lively and interactive session on Business Development, looking at how to ‘grow your business by thinking more creatively’, tailoring BD to the interests and needs of the client/prospect, increasing face to face time, following up and staying visible.

Technology expert, Ian Khan delivered a thought-provoking session on the transformational impact of key technologies on the business landscape. He took members through his ‘7 Axioms of Value Creation’ framework and methodology to help businesses to succeed in today’s era of technology disruption.

INPACT Sabah member, George Lim delivered an informative presentation on Disruption, whilst Israel member Moshe Yeskin informed members about an INPACT business link/referral project being piloted by a dozen members. Tax Committee Chair, Mark Moore and, Tax Audit Chair, Dr Rudolf Schmitz led well attended training sessions on their respective specialties.

The social schedule included dinner and ‘medieval show’ in an underground tavern, e-scootering around Prague Old Town and beer tasting. Members were treated to breathtaking, panoramic views of Prague on their final evening, whilst enjoying a private dinner at Lobkowicz Palace.
