The firm was originally founded in 1993 under the name Estudio Eduard (ERE), providing accounting and tax services. In 2002, the firm changed its name to Consultora Alemana Paraguaya. Consultora Alemana Paraguaya is registered as an audit firm with the Superintendencia de Bancos (S.B.) according to resolution N° 00031/2015, classified under “category I” by the Banco Central del Paraguay. This registration authorizes the renewal of the Registro de Auditores Independientes to perform work under Ley Nº 861, the “Ley General de Bancos, Financieras y otras Entidades de Créditos.”
Additionally, the firm is registered with the Superintendencia de Valores (S.I.V) under registration N° AE033, according to Resolución N° 860/2005, in the Registro de cooperativas (1st category). It is also registered with the Instituto de Contadores Públicos del Paraguay, the Dirección Nacional de Ingresos Tributarios (DNIT), and the Secretaría de Prevención de Lavado de Dinero o Bienes (SEPRELAD). Furthermore, it is registered with the Superintendencia de Seguros (SIS) as per Resolución SS.SG. Nº 206/2023.
