INPACT Members Meet in El Salvador for the Central & South America Regional Meeting

INPACT members from across Central and South America came together in San Salvador, El Salvador, for the latest Central & South America Regional Meeting, bringing together more than 20 delegates from 11 countries. The meeting represented the majority of INPACT’s members in the region and provided an opportunity for firms to connect, exchange knowledge and discuss developments affecting their businesses and clients.

The meeting opened with an introduction to El Salvador, followed by introductions from new members attending the regional meeting for the first time, including firms from Argentina, Mexico and the United States. Members also shared updates from their respective markets, giving participants an insight into developments across the region and the opportunities and challenges they are seeing locally.

One of the sessions focused on digital assets and their growing relevance for professional services firms. The discussion provided an opportunity to explore developments in this area and consider some of the implications for accounting and advisory practices working with clients in an increasingly digital environment. 

Technology and its impact on the profession were also among the topics discussed, alongside the changing needs of clients and the ways firms are adapting their services and operations. The exchange of experiences between firms from different countries allowed participants to compare approaches and share practical perspectives from their own markets.

The meeting also provided an update on INPACT’s activities and developments, giving members the opportunity to hear about current initiatives and discuss how the association can continue to support its firms across the region. With members operating in different markets and regulatory environments, these regional meetings are an important opportunity to share knowledge and strengthen connections between firms.

Beyond the meeting sessions, participants had the opportunity to experience some of El Salvador’s landscape and culture. The programme included a visit to El Boquerón, the volcanic crater of San Salvador Volcano, offering delegates the chance to explore one of the country’s best-known natural landmarks.

The group also spent time exploring San Salvador, including the city’s historic centre, providing a glimpse into the country’s history and culture outside the conference room.

With more than 20 delegates representing 11 countries, the meeting highlighted the strength and diversity of INPACT’s membership across Central and South America. Bringing together such a large proportion of the region’s member firms created valuable opportunities for knowledge sharing, new connections and continued collaboration across borders.
