A couple weeks ago, INPACT Administrator Daniel Perez realized that, though he had often exchanged emails with Jesus Bustamante, the contact for Auditoria y Consulta, an INPACT member firm in Seville, Spain, Perez had never met with him in person or seen the office that Bustamante represents. To remedy that, Perez travelled to Seville on December 9^th.

In a company, whether large- or mid-sized, succession planning is the process of choosing and training a line of successors for key leadership positions within the company if an unforeseen event occurs and affects the nature of the accounting and consulting firm.

Ceauşescu & Partners, the largest audit and accounting firm in Constanta County of Romania, recently welcomed an addition to their team, PR Specialist Irina Marculescu. With master’s degrees in both intercultural management and international politics, Marculescu is poised to handle the firm’s marketing, media consultancy, brand awareness and event organization.

Over the last 13 years, Ceauşescu & Partners has grown tremendously and quickly became the most influential and respected accounting agency in southeast Romania. Now, with Marculescu’s help, the firm plans to branch out Bucharest and promote brand awareness to cultivate relationships with new clients.

Based out of Dundalk and North Dublin, FLC Frank Lynch & Co. currently has clients in Ireland, the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Canada and has been doing business in the accountancy sector for more than 41 years.

Top 20 international accounting association INPACT International (INPACT) has received international industry recognition for its achievements over the last 12 months.

Acting as an accounting firm that provides beneficial and long-lasting business relationships with clients, Bermúdez & Asociados has been in business for eight years and has just recently received the Corporate Finance Accountancy of the Year award in Panama. The financial magazine, Corporate INTL, gives out this award annually, and, this year, Bermúdez & Asociados was the recipient.

Since INPACT was founded on February 27^th, 1989, our association, which came from humble beginnings, has grown into a tight-knit, international organisation with members across almost 70 countries. We have you, our members, to thank for our continued success in this symbiotic relationship.

After having numerous associations go through a rigorous application process, the International Accounting Bulletin named this year’s finalists for the IAB Awards: BKR International, Praxity, and INPACT. As you can imagine, our central staff is thrilled to be one of the finalists for the Association of the Year Award and is gearing up for the awards ceremony that will be held in London on September 16^th, 2014.

Accountancy Age's 2014 survey of global accounting networks, associations and alliances places once again INPACT on the top 40.
